mr takano thank you very much for your answer in my e-mail question.i want to ask you three more questions.the first is about feet width.i try to start my pull with feet and knees out but my feet should close(like duck feet) or in hip width with feet and knees out?and the second question what more exercises you suggest to use than squats to improve my ''pool leg strength"?at last i want to ask why lifters with long femur have difficulty in clean?which is the οbjective of the new book which you prepare?i am looking forward to hearing for you.

You should place your feet slightly turned out and a little narrower than hip width. Point your knees slightly out, but not too far like the old frog leg style used by the Japanese in the 1960's. This will place your hips closer to the bar.
As for leg strength, you need to squat regularly and with 80% at least every training day during the preparation cycle. Back Squats should be done four to five days per week and front squats one to two days a week during the preparation cycle.
